Yep, the Gourmet Stay boutique hotel in Frederick St, formerly with a demure dark chocolate brown exterior, has now blossomed with a mural – resplendently appropriate to its occupants. They’ve taken the sign down – perhaps it no longer needs one – so I’m not sure if the name stays the same or not, At any rate – looking good.

Their website says: “Gourmet Stay will be re-branding to U Boutique Hotel Wellington from 1 September 2018!” Doesn’t say anything about who the artist / painter was.
