Anyone know what that alarm was last night (around 12pm-ish) somewhere in the central city that was a) very loud b) had some unintelligible speaking parts?
I’ve just been unreliably informed it was more like 11.30pm to 12.15am
Ok, i’ve been informed it was just a very loud apartment building fire alarm around 12:20am, that was not just informing its residents of a fire, but the whole neighbourhood. everyone can relax so’more.
The alarm at Century City is punctuated by an Queenslander-accented voice saying “Evacuate the building” every 5 seconds or so.
Makes the..”this ship will self-destruct in 2 minutes”..alarm from the movie Alien sound positively calming.
